This position within ABS Public Safety Solutions business will be focused on, but not limited to, the following:
Responsible for working with the internal & external organizations to develop product strategy, launch and lifecycle manage NG911 Call Handling & ESInet services based on customer needs.
Accountable for on-time product/feature introduction as well as revenue growth, budgets and profitability of Public Safety NG911 services.
Assessing customer needs, sizing market opportunities, developing market service descriptions, developing business cases, writing sales documentation, forecasting revenues, leading service realization processes, maintaining product dashboards and supporting sales to accelerate closure of opportunities.
Leading the development of world class “Learn, Buy, Get, Use, Pay, Support” (LBGUPS) Customer experience; and working with responsible organizations to ensure adherence to Customer experience expectations.
Maintaining existing and establishing new External & Internal Partnership’s including negotiating agreements as needed.
To Be Successful, you will need:
Product management and NG911 Call Handling/ESInet technology and services experience
Solid wireline product experience
Both wireline and wireless networking knowledge
MPLS VPN and Ethernet experience
To be a proven performer with measurable successes leading to positive bottom-line results
Ability to develop and execute product strategies with internal and external stakeholders, build consensus and work across organizational boundaries.
MS or MBA preferred

Product Management or Product Development experience.

Working knowledge of VoIP, MPLS, VPN, Ethernet, Location Services, Call Handling, IP & Mobility networking
Public speaking experience; ability to present on topics at customer meetings or industry events

Preferred experience in the Public Safety NG911, either with a PSAP, carrier, manufacturer or software firm
Be able to hold a Security Clearance (minimal Secret)
Excellent understanding and experience in driving a highly complex business
A highly-inquisitive and analytical mind which promotes the ability to be flexible and creative in order to identify potential product and business solutions and opportunities
Ability to effectively communicating issues and arriving at appropriate solutions with all constituents
Perform as a team player, capable of operating effectively with a minimum of direction, and enjoy significant operational interaction with senior corporate executives. Comfortable "rolling up their sleeves" and participating at a tactical level when necessary
