AT&T Network Specialist - Field Support in Mexico
Level 2-3 on-site @ customer Datacenter in Queretaro for the support and management of the routing, switching, load balancing, DHCP, DNS, infrastructure for a major financial customer in Mexico.
Perform daily datacenter operation activities (Troubleshoot Tier 2-3 incidents, equipment configuration, services monitoring, support & management, MACD execution) for the customer datacenter infrastructure.
Roles and Responsibilities:
-Provide onsite support for datacenter infrastructure @ Queretaro datacenter.
-Responsible for the execution changes on the routing, switching, load balancing, DHCP, DNS infrastructure.
-Assist and provide hands and eyes for our remote L3 team.
-Configure and interpret sniffer captures.
-Interact with other IBM/IBM Customer service towers to ensure the end-to-end solution of issues.
-Maintain network operation under SLA´s
- 7x24 availability
Key Competencies and Skills:
ITIL knowledge with technical network background.
Fluent Spanish and English speaking.
Service Management and Customer oriented.
Good relationship with customers and capable to work under high stress.
Knowledge of Cisco (Nexus / Blade switches).
Multi brand knowledge in routing & switching (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme) (desirable)
Knowledge of F5 balancers
Knowledge of Infoblox appliances
+5 Years of Experience supporting & managing network devices
Education and Qualifications:
-Bachelor Degree in Computer Systems, Telecommunications, Electronics or similar.
-Spanish or English speaking degree or certification (if not mother tongue).
Cisco CCNA R&S Certified
Cisco CCNP R&S Certified
Cisco Datacenter Certified or Datacenter experience
F5 Certified or demonstrable skills
Infoblox Certified or demonstrable skills
Sniffer Usage Training or demonstrable skills.
