AT&T Senior Network Architect (Government) in Vienna, Virginia
Lead engineer and architect for designing private enterprise software defined (SD) Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and Mobile Networks for the Department of the Navy.
Leads a development of SDN solutions in the areas of:
concept of operations
equipment and software configuration
lab testing and proof of concept
implementation and test plans.
Responsible for ensuring solution quality, presenting solutions to clients; and representing the solution to executive leadership.
BS technical degree.
10+ years’ experience with: networking and telecommunications, IP, Ethernet, MPLS, BGP, and ISIS.
Experience with Open Flow, SDN Orchestration, SDN Control, data path, and interface architectures.
Knowledge of vendor SDN equipment and software.
Federal security standards, regulations, and laws (i.e. FIPS, FISMA, and ect), common security operations systems
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and group dynamic skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment..
Required Clearance: Secret
Desired: Masters or PhD in engineering or technical area
