Under general supervision, operate all aspects of Information Systems, data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation. Implement and monitor security measures for communication systems, networks, and provide advice that systems and personnel adhere to established security standards and Governmental requirements for security on these systems.
develop and executesecurity policies, plans, and procedures

operate Network Intrusion Detection andForensics
handle Information Systems security incidents
supportCOOP/DR plans, and perform certification of Information Systems andNetworks.
operate Electronic Key Management System, other informationsecurity duties, and Public Key Infrastructure.
operate Host BasedSecurity System (HBSS), firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems,Intrusion Detection Systems, other point of presence security tools,Virtual Private Networks, and related security operations.
certified inaccordance with DODD 8570.1 Information Assurance Technician II. 5-9years of experience required.
IAT II: GSEC Security+ SSCP
2+ years of experience
Understanding and familiarity with the following:
Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6)
Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP)
Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN)
Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Network Address Translation (NAT)
IAT I: A+ and Security Network+ SSCP
Desired Certifications: CCNA, MTA, or MCTS
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) or a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification.
Required Clearance: Must a US Citizen and possess a clearance
