AT&T Senior Technical Specialist - Windows Administration in Bratislava,

Provides centralized systems administration, operational support and problem resolution for a WINDOWS & VMware based system. Executes all routine administrative and operational tasks (e.g., hardware/software installation, maintenance and support, system logs and problem reports, adds, changes, deletes, disk space management, backups, and file restores). Assists in monitoring of the system's performance and capacity planning. Troubleshoots and/or interacts with IT staff or vendors in testing, operational support and troubleshooting of complex system hardware and software problems. Develops, communicates, and monitors the operational standards and procedures for the WINDOWS & VMware based system. Acts as a technical resource to the IT staff and systems users.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Key Competencies and Skills:

  • 5 to 10 years experience in Windows Administration

  • Administering Windows server operating system versions 2003/2008/2012 and VMware on expert level

  • Knowledge of Dell, HP, IBM hardware brands

  • Good understanding of TCP/IP networking layer

  • SAN/NAS storage exposure

  • Overall RAID configuration knowledge

  • Backup and restore solutions experiences

  • Microsoft Clustering experiences

  • Knowledge of SCCM, WSUS
