AT&T Sr., Predictive Analytics & Customer Valuation in El Segundo, California

AT&T Entertainment group is looking for a talented, highly motivated individual with a strong quantitative orientation, a broad knowledge of math, statistics and business, hands-on data analysis skills and exceptional strategic thinking to join our Analytics organization.

Determine the profitability and lifetime value of every consumer doing business with AT&T!

Customer-level profitability drives pricing, offer, and retention strategies. You’ll get to wrangle dozens of data streams, lead analytic exploration, do business case analysis, build scenarios & forecasting, and drive insight mining. You’ll need to be dynamic in adjusting to priorities as the marketplace evolves, be resilient in aligning methodologies across varying cohorts of customer and product profiles, and articulate in turning data into actionable outcomes for leadership to approve.

As the successful candidate you will:

  • Build out customer-level margin and Life Time Value metrics for Wireless, Broadband, and Video (and combinations of all types)

  • Identify key segments / clusters of customers who are profitable – and those who are not – and learn what drives the difference… and how to create opportunities from these learnings

  • Work closely with pricing, marketing, credit & collections, finance, and retention to improve their ability to acquire, serve, and retain every customer household while maintaining profitability for our shareholders

You’ll report to the Director of Predictive Analytics and Customer Valuation for AT&T Mobility and Entertainment Group, but can grow your personal brand across several organizations as the expert on customer value.

  • 10+ years in advanced analytics field

  • Experience in Churn and Revenue / LTV analysis

  • Financial analytic experience a major plus

  • R and/or SAS statistical modeling experience desired

  • Ability to translate complex analysis into simplified actionable insights

  • Advanced degree in Analytics, Computational Science, Computer Science, or Technical MBA
