As part of the Human Resources team supporting DIRECTV Technology and Video Operations, you will be solving some of our most interesting talent challenges and deploying systems, practices, and processes to drive extraordinary employee engagement. Our team partners with leadership to create strategies that drive employee and team development, high performance, and selection of best internal and external talent for key leadership and technical roles.   • Be an HR Pro – Advise leaders on complex HR issues, usedata to develop client-specific solutions and drive improved talentdecisions, and make the HR “basics-compensation, talent acquisition,employee relations, performance management, learning and development-lookeasy.

  • Coach and Develop – Help our leaders and employeesreach their full potential, through one-on-one coaching, bringing talentreviews to life, and deploying learning solutions. Be a custodian of ourculture and the next generation of talent.

  • Manage Cool Projects – Drive key initiatives and annualprocesses using top-notch-project management skills; help identify new andbetter ways of doing things.

  • Get Creative – Stay ahead of the latest trends in HR,challenge the status quo, and invent new talent solutions that delivervalue for the Technology and Video Operations team.

Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years of HR Business Partner experience or similar; HRspecialist experience desired; HR leadership program graduate preferred.

  • BS/BA in Human Resources, Management or related fielddesired. Advanced degree in Human Resources preferred.

  • Ability to solve complex problems, use data to informdecisions, and effectively influence leadership and employeebehavior.

  • Strong business acumen with experience developing anddeploying client-specific talent solutions.
