This is a terrific opportunity for someone well-versed in data analytics to build, expand, and maintain the AT&T data environment. This requires experience in data profiling, database administration, scripting languages & ETL. You will use Big Data technologies and expansive datasets of customer attributes including billing, device, usage, network, contacts to CARE, COR, Online, and survey data.
You will build, expand, and maintain the Marketing Analytics Engine data environment. Our Ideal candidate will have advanced experience in physical data model development, database administration, scripting languages & ETL. You will use Big Data technologies and expansive datasets of customer attributes including billing/device/usage, network, contacts to CARE/COR/Online, survey & modeling data.
Initiatives Candidate will work on:
Supporting the Marketing Analytics Engine environment and data, evolving the frequency of refreshes to near-real-time data availability
Automation and streamlining of ETL for daily loads
Auditing of data and basic reporting to ensure the accuracy of the data used for analysis
Implementation of new data sources to enhance the capabilities of the team
Exploration, evaluation, and delivery of new technologies, techniques, and tools to advance the capabilities of the team
Creation of datasets and facilitation of presentation to clients through data visualization tools
New visualization techniques to push data insights further into the business and marketing organization
Candidate Background :
Teradata Aster experience highly desired
Advanced background in data modeling and profiling
Advanced background in database management, ETL scripting, and automation (UNIX Scripting, SQL, SAS, Perl, Pig & Python)
Passion for refining general problem statements into specific and meaningful datasets for hypothesis testing
- Prefer and advanced college degree in Statistics, Mathematics and or Computer Science or Ph.D. in related fields and or related expertise
Strong understanding of internal business segment or stakeholders and strong presentation skills
Background in data analysis, data mining, and profiling
