AT&T RF Engineer (Government) in El Segundo, California

Seeking a talented RF/Communications or Electrical engineer (or equivalent) with at least 5 years post-graduation professional experience to develop RF communication link budgets, perform signal jamming computations, compute antennae patterns etc.

Applicant must possess the following skills:

  • Ability to performing detailed link budget analyses for RF communication systems, signal jamming computations, and other RF-related calculations

  • Expert MATLAB user

  • Junior to mid-level (5-10 years) RF/Communications engineer

  • Have good communications skills and ability to work in a collaborative team development environment

  • Applicant must have a technical degree (BS, MS, PhD) in RF or Communications Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

Required Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance mandatory.

Meeting the customer’s security requirements is mandatory for this position.

Desired: A PhD or masters is preferred. Knowledge of one or more of the following is also a plus: optics, radar, laser, rendezvous and proximity operations, space object characterization/identification, kinetic ASATs, network modeling and cyber threats, intelligence analysis, spacecraft design, battle management command and control, radar systems engineering, electro-optical systems modeling, experience coding C++ and/or Python simulation languages.
