AT&T Lead Marketing Manager in El Segundo, California

The AT&T DIRECTV NOW team is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and analytical candidate to join us in our El Segundo, CA offices as a Lead Marketing Manager. DIRECTV NOW is a premium streaming entertainment TV service that seeks to captivate and connect viewers with the entertainment they love wherever they go.

The Lead Marketing Manager contributes to creating a best-in-class experience that celebrates the nexus of entertainment and technology. The focus will be creating actionable strategies based on sound financial thinking and inferences from knowledge of this dynamic and rapidly evolving media landscape. You will work cross-functionally to increase overall customer value through optimizing customer experience, driving upgrades, creating retention offers and balancing advertising on the platform.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Defining and operationalizing optimal proactive and reactive retention and winback offers balancing save rates and ROI

  • Working with analytics to optimize existing customer segments and developing actionable retention and engagement strategy specific to each segment

  • Driving strategy and execution of lifecycle marketing to onboard, retain, build loyalty, and to increase lifetime value by engaging customers utilizing data driven, personalized, targeted and relevant marketing at every stage

  • Developing and implementing data driven framework to manage, report and forecast on daily, weekly and monthly retention metrics

  • Steward of the customer journey, understanding in detail and identifying key opportunities for optimization across every stage

  • Collaborating and building strong teamwork and communications with internal stakeholders including Care, Analytics, Marketing, Product, Finance, Legal

Position Requirements:

  • 7+ years’ overall in Finance, Strategy or Business development, background in a subscriber-based business Passion for entertainment, new digital trends and technologies

  • Excel ninja skills - business models, pivot tables, data analysis

  • Great PowerPoint and presentation skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related discipline strongly preferred

  • MBA desirable
