AT&T Associate Director, Viewership & Content Strategy Analytics in El Segundo, California
AT&T Entertainment Group is looking for a talented, highly motivated leader with a broad knowledge of data strategy, business acumen, hands-on data analysis skills, and exceptional strategic thinking to join our analytics organization.
As our ideal candidate you will utilize new big data technologies to generate in-depth, actionable insights from the high growth Viewership and Content analytics environment. You will be an advanced in customer data and data management to maintain and evolve the environment. Will assist in evaluating technologies and define strategy to drive efficiency across peer and client teams. You will be able to communicate complex data-based concepts and analytic based recommendations effectively to Marketing clients.
Initiatives Candidate will work on:
Automate, audit, and make more efficient the data aggregation processes necessary to populate the Viewership and Content environment
Utilize advanced/big data analysis technics to deliver detailed insights for driving company strategy, revenue growth, product integration and churn reduction
Evolve the use of customer data to segment customers and identify high-value cross-sell, up-sell, and retention targets
Develop, evolve and maintain core and analytic tables to adapt with the business and improve customer insights
Evaluate and test current toolset against evolving technologies to keep resources armed with cutting-edge tools
Deliver efficiency and automation in recurring processes and analytics
Translate complex analysis into actionable intelligence and recommendations to partner organizations and executives
Skills needed to be successful:
Teradata, Aster, Oracle, Vertica, Hadoop experience highly desired
Advanced understanding of data science and application of big data analytics tools
Ability to communicate complex information
- Typically possesses advanced college degree in Statistics, Mathematics and or Computer Science or Ph.D. in related fields and or related expertise
Typically possesses strong understanding of internal business segment or stakeholders and strong presentation skills.
Typically requires 8-10 years related experience in advanced analytics, relational database structures, big data, research methods, sampling techniques, and system testing as well as supervisory experience.
