AT&T Lead Tax Accountant in Dallas, Texas
Overall Purpose : The role is primarily related to international tax transfer pricing issues. Responsible for the analysis, interpretation and implementation of procedures stemming from existing and upcoming tax legislation (U.S. federal and foreign) in the area of Base Erosion and Profit Shifting ("BEPS") and transfer pricing.
The initial role will primarily involve project management of the BEPS data gathering and reporting process. This will become an annual requirement so managing the process, internal contributors, and external consultants will continue to be vital in this role. The job will also necessitate a great deal of interaction with different groups within AT&T. A good knowledge of AT&T’s internal systems including CFAS, HFM, and MR 2020 would also be a plus. Knowledge of economics will be beneficial.
Key Roles and Responsibilities :
Project Management of BEPs annual reporting process.
Involved in developing, modifying, and executing company polices in the area of BEPS and transfer pricing which affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.
Preparation and filing of documentation required under U.S. federal and foreign tax laws and regulations.
Responsible for meeting all required deadlines.
Conducts research to advise management of the tax implications of BEPS and transfer pricing legislation.
Supports and documents moderately complex tax audits.
Job Contribution: Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
