AT&T RAN Network Technician - Mobility Service Operations (Fixed Term) in Brno, Czech Republic
Role is part of the East RAN Reliability Center designed to drive Network Reliability through Fault and Performance management of AT&T RAN and ALT RAN Environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the rapid assessment of failures, and provides reactive appropriate response, engaging various support organizations to coordinate activities and restore/reduce the duration and severity of customer impact and/or loss of redundancy.
• Knowledge of Network Maintenance and Provisioning (alarm management platforms, chronic analysis, isolation and triage, Remote network access)
• Provide remote troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of the following:
RAN Network (including but not limited NodeB, eNodeB, RNC, specific Nokia)
Small Cell Network (including but not limited to Access Points, Femto Gateways, Small Cell Switches and Routers)
Distributed Antenna Systems
• Retrieve and analyze indicators like RSSI, VSWR and KPIs to determine a cell's performance resolving and/or isolating faults within the network.
Key Competencies and Skills:
Problem Management (Level 2) - ability to identify the root cause of problems in a timely and accurate manner and bring them to a successful resolution.
Fault Mgmt/Network Incident Mgmt (Level 2) - ability to investigate, troubleshoot, resolve and prevent the recurrence of network incidents that interfere with the normal delivery of network services.
Technical Troubleshooting (Level 2) - technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques, and the ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical (hardware, software, application, systems, network or operational) problems.
Education and Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. English Fluent
Basic Networking and RAN Experience is required, as well as knowledge of working with AOTS-M.
Knowledge of UMTS and LTE is an advantage.
Comfortable working in a structured, fast paced environment.
