We have a growing and engaging team of designers who work with the hottest mobile devices to shape the future of the mobile device experience. Here, your expertise is valued and needed to assess the quality of the user experience (UX), provide recommendations for improvement and collaborate with suppliers and team members to deliver an industry-leading experience.
Your usability, user interface (UI) and interaction design skills will play a key role in developing a consistent and compelling experience across the device product portfolio. You will also have opportunities to lead advanced user experience improvement initiatives.
The successful Designer will:
Create innovative interaction designs through explorations, user flows, wireframes, and behavior specifications
Create high-level flows and detailed UX design requirements for new or lifecycle mobile applications
Collaborate with design partners and OEM design groups to represent and advocate AT&T's device UX design perspective and requirements
Write detailed UX requirements to specify the implementation of AT&T services on OEM devices
Review and make recommendations on the implementation of AT&T services on OEM devices
Partner with product teams to understand user needs, business needs, and platform/OS
Collaborate with other designers to translate wireframes and other UI specifications into finished visual designs
This type of background will get our attention:
3+ years’ experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, human factors engineer, or similar
5+ years’ experience defining UI design requirements, use case development, interaction flow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes
Creative design skills with demonstrable track record of directing and managing external agency partners
Must provide a portfolio that demonstrates superior design skills along with your process and thinking
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, design systems, and usability research methods
Demonstrated effective written and verbal presentation skills
Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or related discipline; advanced degree highly desired
