AT&T Electronics Engineer, Junior (Government) in Aberdeen, Maryland
Provides electronics engineering support for Army C4I acquisition programs.
Provides professional engineering that requires primarily application of knowledge to:
the physical and engineering sciences and mathematics
the principles, techniques, and practices of electronics engineering. This pertains primarily to electronic circuits, circuit elements, equipment, systems, and associated phenomena concerned with electromagnetic or acoustical wave energy or electrical information for purposes such as communication, computation, sensing, control, measurement, and navigation
Minimum 5 years experience.
Must have a strong knowledge of Army tactical radio systems.
Must have general experience in system engineering; electrical design program design and implementation configuration management, and systems maintenance.
Must have a background in software defined radios (SDR) or SDR waveforms; have worked with embedded or real-time operating systems; a working understanding of the software communications architecture (SCA); and experience with the Army Victory and Modular Open RF Architecture (MORA) architectures.
Must have experience in performing these functions in an environment focused on cybersecurity, information assurance, and mission critical assured service.
Must have experience in developing and executing System Test & Evaluation plans.
Must be capable of developing test procedures, establishing test environments, executing security certification test/demonstrations/evaluations, documenting results, and developing reports, conclusions, and recommendations.
Bachelors degree in engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is preferred (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education).
Required Clearance: Secret
Desired: Familiarity with Army CERDEC or similar organization. Familiarity with supporting Army acquisition programs at various levels.
