AT&T Computer Scientist Senior (Government) in Aberdeen, Maryland

Provides support for Army C4I acquisition programs. Performs systems design and software engineering with emphasis on networking, cybersecurity, and information assurance. Supports programs related to C4I, strategic/tactical communications, and other IT systems

  • 10 years experience.

  • Must have advanced experience in software engineering and programming for large computers, minicomputer and microprocessor based applications.

  • Must have expertise in requirements analysis, design, and coding methodologies; data base design approaches; documentation standards.

  • Must have experience in software development in C, C++, and/or Java; proficiency in Linux to include the ability to modify the kernel and code device drivers; background in software defined radios (SDR) or SDR waveforms; have worked with embedded or real-time operating systems; a working understanding of the software communications architecture (SCA); experience with software defined networking (SDN); and experience with the Army Victory and Modular Open RF Architecture (MORA) architectures.

  • Must have experience supporting major Army programs of record as part of an information assurance/information security/ cyber security team; strong knowledge of NSA certification requirements, requirements analysis, NSA certification documentation, and cryptographic key management; must have a strong knowledge of Army tactical radio systems; ability to implement solutions that follow NSA’s Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSFC); experience working with the Android Operating System (OS); and a background in cross domain solutions (CDS) research and development.

  • Must meet certification requirements associated with DoD Manual 8570.01-M at IA Technical Level II. Masters Degree in Computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is preferred (10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)

Desired: Familiarity with Army CERDEC or similar organization. Familiarity with supporting Army acquisition programs at various levels
